Viviotex and Almasoft Sign Agreement to Bring AI Documentation to Over 700 Dental Clinics

Viviotex and Almasoft have signed an agreement to bring VivioDent’s AI-assisted documentation directly into Almasoft’s system, making it available to over 700 dental clinics.

The agreement means that VivioDent, Viviotex’s AI solution for dentistry, will be integrated directly into Almasoft — one of the leading dental journal systems in the Nordics.
Through the integration, all Almasoft customers will gain access to AI-assisted clinical documentation directly within the system they already use every day.
With VivioDent, clinics can automatically generate clinical notes, complete periodontal charting using voice, and receive support with automatic procedure coding. All of this happens without an extra login, without parallel systems, and without disrupting existing workflows. The solution is developed with GDPR and European standards as its foundation.
Dentistry has had a documentation problem for a long time. Periodontal charting often requires two people at the chair. Clinical notes are still written after the patient visit. Procedure coding is still done manually. Many of the AI tools that have transformed workflows in healthcare were built for hospital environments — not for dentistry’s language, needs, or practice management systems.
Dentistry has simply been left behind. Now, we are making AI documentation available directly inside the practice management system.
What the agreement means in practice
VivioDent is built directly into Almasoft’s clinical environment, instead of being added as a separate tool alongside it.
When a dentist carries out a consultation, VivioDent listens, creates clinical notes, completes the periodontal chart based on the dentist’s voice, and suggests the correct procedure codes.
No extra keyboard. No second screen. No documentation left for after hours.
For the clinics using Almasoft, this means less administrative time, more time for patients, and a documentation workflow that continues to work as the clinic grows.
“Almasoft’s vision is to ‘create profitable dental clinics with more time for patients’ — and that requires giving clinics the right tools. The agreement with Viviotex is a natural next step in that journey. This is how we build the future of dentistry — together.”
— Lucas Christensson, CEO, Almasoft
“The right way to integrate AI into dentistry is not to create yet another tool that clinics have to switch to. It is to become part of the system they already trust. That is exactly what our agreement with Almasoft represents — and it is the model we want to build on across Europe.”
— Ahmed Luay, CEO, Viviotex
What this means for dentistry in the Nordics
Almasoft’s decision to integrate VivioDent reflects a clear shift in healthcare technology. The most forward-looking platforms are no longer asking whether AI belongs in clinical workflows. They are already building it in.
Dentistry has been one of the last major clinical specialties to go through this transformation. That is now starting to change.
Viviotex continues to grow across the Nordics and Europe, together with practice management systems and dental organizations that are ready to move from considering AI to actually using it.
